She had suggestions for staging our house to show off the best features and helped with the materials needed. She held a realtors open house and 2 for the public. She also helped when we were negotiating with buyers. I was very pleased with the price we received for our home.As we were selling AND looking to buy a smaller residence at the same time, things did get tricky! Linda actually took us on numerous viewing trips to see available properties and, with her help, we found the perfect townhouse in an excellent location. The sale of our condo was quick (thanks to Linda) but high radon issues caused a multitude of issues with our buyer and the condo association. Linda went above and beyond, working hard from the initial radon discovery to the final remediation. Amazing…We were so fortunate to have found Linda Schramm moving back to the Chicagoland area. As our realtor, she helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. She was patient, as we traveled from out of state to look at homes over several months and cautioned us about making unreasonable offers on home we liked. She was very knowledgeable of the market and what to look for.She was always on our side working with us. She pointed out things I never would have thought to ask, and pointed out items I would’ve missed. She explained each home, both its good points and things we may want to consider. I cannot recommend Linda Schramm highly enough--she was an invaluable asset in every stage of the home-buying process. To begin with, she found for us a home we love that meets all of our particular needs. She also helped us to negotiate a sales price well below the list price while also getting the sellers to pay for several significant repairs. Beyond that, she helped me to secure a mortgage with even better terms than the one I had in hand, saving me many thousands of dollars. As a first-time home buyer, I had many questions and concerns. Linda was very prompt and thorough in replying to questions, and flexible in accommodating my schedule.
